Fun Things to Do Around the Triangle this Summer: Lake Edition

Who doesn’t love a lake day, especially a summer lake day? Sometimes the only cure for a hot, summer day is the crisp water and breezy air that can only be found on a lake. Lake days are great because of how versatile they are. When renting from Motor Boatin’, the possibilities for activities on your lake day are endless!

Here are fun activities for any lake day this summer in the Triangle:

  • Fishing: Is there anything more exciting than catching a fish? We don’t think so. Renting a fishing boat and spending a relaxing day fishing on the lake is the perfect thing to do this summer. If you want to spice things up, think about having a competition with friends or family as to who can catch the biggest or the most fish. This is especially fun for young kids as they navigate fishing for the first time.

  • Sports: Who doesn’t love some great competition? Water sports like skiing, wakeboarding, and tubing are an exhilarating way to spend a lake day for anyone who likes a little bit of thrill in their life.
