How far in advance should I book? As soon as you’re positive about your date, book it! As the premier choice for Falls Lake boat rentals, our weekends often fill up a week or more in advance.

Are reservations required? Yes! We don’t have a walk-in office at the dock. You can sometimes snag a same-day Motor-Boatin' rental online with a 3-hour heads-up, but calling or texting is best for last-minute availability.

Do you deliver to other lakes? We offer everything at Falls Lake with free delivery to Ledge Rock Boat Ramp. For other lakes, there is a $300 delivery fee and specific 8 am–4 pm time slots. No 1/2 days and no jet skis delivered to other lakes.

Can I bring my dog? We love lake dogs! Motor-Boatin’ specializes in pet-friendly boat rentals for a small fee. Just keep them off the seats, and note that a few models (like the Deck Boats) are "no-paws" zones.

What is the age requirement? You must be 26 years or older to rent and operate our equipment. Don't forget your photo ID—we have to verify it before you head out. We do allow 21 years old with NC Boat Safety Cards.

What happens if the weather turns? Mother Nature can be unpredictable in NC! If you use less than 75% of your time due to weather, we’ll apply the remaining 25% to a future credit. If you've been out for more than 75% of your slot, no refunds.

The "Jet Ski Shorts" Rule (Yes, really!) Insurance requires all riders to wear shorts. If you fall off, the jet stream is no joke. Trust us—wear the shorts so your Lake Day stays a happy one!

Security Deposits vs. Deductibles We hold a security deposit (usually $500–$1,000) to cover potential minor issues. However, remember that your total financial responsibility for damages can be up to the $1,200 insurance deductible. Don't do damage, and you'll get your deposit back!
