The Basics: Booking & Logistics:

How far in advance should I book? As soon as you’re positive about your date, book it! As the premier choice for Falls Lake boat rentals, our weekends often fill up a week or more in advance.

Are reservations required? Yes! We don’t have a walk-in office at the dock. You can sometimes snag a same-day Motor-Boatin' rental online with a 3-hour heads-up, but calling or texting is best for last-minute availability.

Where do we actually meet you? Check your emails carefully! Our business address is our private home (no lake access there!). Whether you are coming for a Wake Forest Boat Rental or a Raleigh Boat Rental, Meet us at Ledge Rock Boat Ramp: 2601 Olive Grove Church Road, Creedmoor.

Do you deliver to other lakes? We offer everything at Kerr with free delivery to 3316 Flemingtown Rd, Henderson. At least until Falls Lake levels come back up to safe operable depths. For other lakes, there is a $300 delivery fee and specific 8 am–4 pm time slots. No 1/2 days and no jet skis delivered to other lakes.

The Fun Stuff: Gear & Pets:

Can I bring my dog? We love lake dogs! Motor-Boatin’ specializes in pet-friendly boat rentals for a small fee. Just keep them off the seats, and note that a few models (like the Deck Boats) are "no-paws" zones.

Is gas included in the price? For boats, you start full and we top it off at the end, back out our yard. For those looking for Jet Ski rentals near me, fuel is included in your booking unless you're doing a marathon back-to-back session!

Can we pull tubes or skis? Yes! We take pride in offering the best pontoon rentals North Carolina has to offer for family fun. We have tubes and ropes available to rent for all your Falls Lake water sports needs!

The "Serious Business": Rules & Safety

What is the age requirement? You must be 26 years or older to rent and operate our equipment. Don't forget your photo ID—we have to verify it before you head out. We do allow 21 years old with NC Boat Safety Cards.

What happens if the weather turns? Mother Nature can be unpredictable in NC! If you use less than 75% of your time due to weather, we’ll apply the remaining 25% to a future credit. If you've been out for more than 75% of your slot, no refunds.

The "Jet Ski Shorts" Rule (Yes, really!) Insurance requires all riders to wear shorts. If you fall off, the jet stream is no joke. Trust us—wear the shorts so your Lake Day stays a happy one!

Security Deposits vs. Deductibles We hold a security deposit (usually $500–$1,000) to cover potential minor issues. However, remember that your total financial responsibility for damages can be up to the $1,200 insurance deductible. Don't do damage, and you'll get your deposit back!

Boat Rental Participant Agreement:

RESERVATIONS:
THE RENTAL AND TAXES ARE PAID AT THE TIME OF RESERVATION.  THE SECURITY DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED. RESERVATION MUST BE MADE WITH A MAJOR CREDIT CARD AND THE SAME CARD WILL BE USED FOR THE SECURITY DEPOSIT UNLESS OTHER ARRANGEMENTS ARE MADE AT THE TIME OF RESERVATION. THE DRIVER MUST PROVIDE DRIVERS LICENSE NUMBER AT TIME OF RESERVATION.

PICKUP AND RETURNS:
PICK UPS/DELIVERIES ARE BETWEEN 8:00 AM AND 11:00AM-TO BE SCHEDULED BEFORE THE DAY OF RENTAL.  RETURNS ARE PRE-SET AT THE TIME OF RESERVATION. AT OTHER LAKES THE RENTAL TIME IS 8AM-4PM.

OTHER ARRANGEMENTS MAY BE AVAILABLE WITH PRIOR APPROVAL AND ADDITIONAL CHARGES MAY APPLY. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS ON EARLY RETURNS, OR LATE PICKUPS.

ELIGIBILITY:
ALL RENTERS MUST BE 26 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER AND HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE OR IDENTIFICATION.  EACH DRIVER MUST BE LISTED ON THE BOATER PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT AND MEET THE NC BOATING LAWS AND WILL BOUND BY THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE RENTAL AGREEMENT.  INDIVIDUALS THAT ARE TOWING MOTOR BOATIN LLC’S EQUIPMENT MUST HAVE TOWING LIABILITY WITH THEIR AUTO INSURANCE FOR ALL RENTALS AND RENTAL INSURANCE THRU US.

DAMAGE DEPOSIT:
A DAMAGE DEPOSIT OF $500 WILL BE A HOLD OR AUTHORIZATION AT LEAST 24HRS PRIOR TO RENTAL, USING THE SAME CARD AS PAYMENTS.  DAMAGE DEPOSITS WILL BE RETURNED, IF THERE IS NO DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT, WITHIN 7 BUSINESS DAYS OF RETURN.  DO NOT LEAVE THE EQUIPMENT UNATTENDED.  YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE UNTIL WE CHECK THE EQUIPMENT BACK IN.

CANCELLATION:
MORE THAN 48HRS-25% CANCELLATION FEE.  24HRS-48HRS-30% CANCELLATION FEE. WITHIN 24HRS-100% CANCELLATION FEE.  RESERVATIONS ARE GOOD FOR 1 YEAR FROM DATE OF CREATION. SAME DAY CHANGES ARE NOT ALLOWED. CHANGES TO YOUR DATE OUTSIDE OF 48HRS HAS NO CHARGE.  WITHIN 24-48HRS IS $50.  THERE IS NO PROMISE THE BOAT CAN GET RENTED WITHIN 24HRS. These situational fees are in place-due to the boat can be used, yet the customer chooses not to.

WEATHER POLICY:
PLEASE WATCH THE WEATHER DAILY.  RENTALS CAN BE RESCHEDULED, NOT REFUNDED, THE DAY BEFORE RESERVATION DATE WITH NO PENALTY, ONLY IF THE WEATHER AT THE SPECIFIC LAKE IS GOING TO BE BAD DURING YOUR RENTAL TIME. IF YOU DECIDE TO CANCEL DUE TO WEATHER, REFER TO CANCELLATION POLICY.  WEATHER RELATED RESCHEDULING IS RESCHEDULING, NOT REFUNDABLE.  IF A STORM COMES AND YOU ARE UNABLE TO GET ON THE WATER AGAIN THAT DAY AND HAVE HAD LESS THAN 4 HOURS, A PRORATED AMOUNT OF TIME WILL BE AVAILABLE TO YOU DEPENDING ON AVAILABILITY. These situational fees are in place-due to the boat can be used another day (which is free to reschedule), yet the customer chooses not to.

PONTOON BOAT/WAVERUNNER/FISHING BOAT EQUIPMENT:
EACH EQUIPMENT IS EQUIPPED WITH ALL EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT REQUIRED, INCLUDING LIFE JACKETS.
